Air Emissions Permitting

Sport Environmental helps take the pain out of air emissions compliance. We work with our clients to understand their unique operations and provide permitting options tailored to each facility. Our environmental experts have a deep understanding of air regulations and equipment that is present at oil and gas facilities -- this makes it possible for us to help our clients select cost-effective compliance strategies. Many clients also choose to have Sport Environmental prepare Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure (SPCC) plans or Tier II documentation when air emissions services are requested because our environmental experts are able to collect data in the field that can be used for multiple environmental filings in a single visit.

Air Permitting - Texas

If you need an air permit to operate in Texas, we provide start to finish work to satisfy Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requirements. We frequently prepare Due Diligence Documentation for low-emission (de minius) facilities to demonstrate compliance with applicable rules. In addition, we routinely prepare Permit by Rule (PBR) applications for our clients. In cases where air emissions are greater than the PBR level, we can guide clients through the more advanced air permitting scenarios such as those requiring Standard or Title V Permits.

RRC Form H-9 (H2S Compliance)

Let us handle your RRC Form H-9 compliance needs. We efficiently process hydrogen sulfide compliance forms and provide H2S testing, if needed.

In Texas, we also handle Form H-9 (H2S Compliance) filings for clients if requested since this filing is required by the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC). Our field team is up-to-date on hydrogen sulfide safety training and prepared to collect samples needed to complete this form.

Air Permitting - New Mexico

Sport Environmental prepares air permits and other air emissions compliance documentation for clients operating in New Mexico. Just like we do in Texas, we assess facilities estimated emissions using industry-standard calculations to determine the most appropriate type of air permit needed for compliance purposes. In New Mexico, we have prepared No Permit Required (NPR) determination documentation and Notice of Intent (NOI) applications for several clients. We're also available to assist with the more advanced minor permit process utilized by the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) Air Quality Bureau.

Air Permitting - Other States

Sport Environmental also has the ability to prepare air permit applications for clients with operations in several states outside of Texas and New Mexico.  Don't hesitate to ask us if your company requires additional air permits to operate.

Our clients love our super-efficient digital data collection process that allows us to gather operational data in the field, perform and record hydrogen sulfide (H2S) sampling results, and draw process flow diagrams. This gets information to our environmental experts in the office so that they can perform emissions calculations and modeling, manage all regulatory filings, and help our clients quickly obtain the appropriate permits.
